Freedom

Physical freedom is something that we enjoy in America, but this is not enough to satisfy us because we are more than physical beings. We are also spiritual beings.
The question is, how is our spiritual freedom?
To answer the question, you only need to answer one simple thing: Whose slave are you?
What is a slave?
John 8:31-37; everyone falls into this category-- if you know the truth, you are free; if you don't know the truth, you are trapped.
Romans 6:16-23
We are either slaves to sin or slaves to God.
2 Peter 2:17-22 refers to people who look for spiritual freedom outside of Jesus. Anything outside of Christ ends up trapping you even more.
How can you be spiritually free? Ask Jesus to come into your life and He can truly set you free.
In all freedom, there is a cost. Thousands of people have sacrificed their lives for our physical freedom. Jesus paid the price for our spiritual freedom.
