Our Invitation

Luke 24:13-29
1 Corinthians 15:12-19
Jesus always meets us where we are, even if we're not in the right place. He meets us in the common, everyday places of life.
We are never abandoned and God never stops loving us-- He loves us at our worst.
v.21-- They were talking about shattered dreams ("We had hoped...")
Their hope was extinguished, but just a few days earlier it was burning strong.
Jesus waited for an invitation in v.29.
Too many times we make up excuses to avoid the invitation.
Jesus wants to become our Lord.
