Ignoring the Needs of the World

John 2:12-25
To the Jews, the Passover became nothing more than a ritual. This can happen to us.
In John 2, evangelism had been sacrificed for money. They had forgotten their original purpose. The saved were more concerned for themselves than for the lost.
Jesus was angered because the leadership had began to focus on themselves and not on the needs of the world.
People are looking for God. Where are we?
The religious leaders of that time where basically saying, "What committee approved this?" They were more concerned about procedure.
Jesus will not leave us unchanged. God cannot be fooled or tricked. He is a refiner and a purifyer.
Are we genuine followers of Christ? When we ignore the needs of the world, God doesn't just "wink" at us and go on. He takes it very serious.
