In Luke, the town wasn't hostile or inhospitable. It was too crowded. Many times, we can be too crowded also.
Examples of those who were changed:
- Zacheus (Luke 19)- He was crowded with wealth and prosperity.
- The Ethiopian (Acts 8)- He was crowded with power, control, and authority.
- Saul (Acts 9)- He was crowded with religion and good works.
- The Woman at the Well (John 4)- She was crowded with relationships.
Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. When we allow Christ to be our treasure, life has new meaning and purpose.
God can't be ignored or rejected forever. We all will bow before Him, either by choice as Lord, or by force as Judge.
