- 1 Peter 5:7-10
- We never reach an age where we are no longer tempted.
- What is more important than getting our children through this life? It is our job to help them watch for and avoid the "roaring lion."
- We must learn to fight for our children the way a mama bear fights for her cubs.
- We wouldn't be in the position we're in if we weren't equipped for the task.
- We've been given the "tools for the trade."
- Do we use the power and equipment that the Lord has given to us?
- If you feel overwhelmed at the thought, just remember that Jesus is in the habit of lifting burdens-- when we bring them to Him.
- Children, family, and friends are truly the only things we can take with us into eternity. Are we fighting to take them to heaven or letting them slide into hell?
- Where are our priorities?
- Can we say, "I've fought the good fight?" (or "I am fighting the good fight?")
- We must help show the way around traps that Satan sets for our young people.
