The Jealousy of God

What things or activities take up most of your time? How do you use your time?
Have you ever been jealous? Describe jealousy. What kinds of things make you jealous?
Have you ever looked at jealousy from God's point of view? Have you ever thought about how He views your use of the time He's given?
God's jealousy is a 'righteous' jealousy-- He accepts no rivals-- and why should He, He's God!
Exodus 20:1-6
What kinds of 'rivals' do we allow into our lives? Possibly, one of the more painful one's is procrastination (Oh, I'll do it later... I'll spend time with God later...); or how about when we value a relationship with a person more than our relationship with God? Now, our relationship with people is important, but not more important than our relationship with God. Actually, if we focus on our relationship with God, it improves our relationship with people.
If there are any rivals in you life that would make God jealous, move them out today.
