- Exodus 2:23-
- Moses' call.
- God knows what's going on-- He's not ignorant or clueless.
- We're good at making excuses, but God knows how to get our attention.
- It took Moses awhile to notice God in the midst of the common-- our everyday lives.
- God usually speaks in the midst of the normal.
- It makes you wonder if we are so wrapped up in ourselves and our own wants and desires that we walk past the "burning bushes" without even recognizing them.
- God has a great number of resources, yet we seem to try and accomplish things on our own, with our own resources, so many times.
- We don't know what we need, but God always seems to provide.
- He gives us what we need as we're traveling "down our road."
- We will be mistrusted and misunderstood, but we continue to:
- Refuse to compromise
- Stand firm in the face of suffering and adversity.
- Moses gave it all and trusted in Him.
