The Danger of Worldly Wisdom

James 3:13-18; Colossians 2:8
In the beginning, worldly wisdom said, "Go ahead... Try it... It won't hurt you..."
Worldly wisdom is limited-- it doesn't rely on the Holy Spirit.
True wisdom can be measured by the depth of one's character (what they are on the inside). A person's character DOES matter. How a person lives and acts matters.
Humility (strength under control) is a sign of wisdom.
Worldly wisdom is characterized by turmoil, disorder, selfishness.
Godly wisdom is peaceful, considerate, submissive, shows no favortism and sincere (no hypocrisy).
