Don’t store raw potatoes in the refrigerator. Remove them from plastic bags as they stop air circulation. Store them in a cool dark place.

When peeling a hard boiled egg, try rolling it between your hands to loosen the shell. Put the egg under cool, running water and start peeling at the large end.
Mix this: 1/2 cup of sudsy ammonia with enough water to make 1 gallon. Clean soiled areas around the stove or oven and the floor. Ventilate well while using.
Before throwing away a pair of pantyhose, use it to help clean up your dog or cat. Put your hand inside and as you pet the animal, loose hair will stick to the nylon instead of floating through the air or landing on clothes, furniture, or the floor. Turn the nylon inside out to keep the hair inside, and toss it in the garbage when you’re finished.
