THE BOOK OF TAUNT
Jump to:

If you think you can, you will. If you think you can't, you won't. Either way, you are correct.

Do not attempt to do a thing unless you are sure of yourself; but do not relinquish it simply because someone else is not sure of you.

God knows what He is doing and His timing is perfect.

How quickly we sometimes forget.

In friendships, the important thing is not always what we did, but that we shared in what we did.

Excellence can be attained if you care more than others think is wise; risk more than others think is safe; dream more than others think is practical; expect more than others think is possible.

A lack of planning on your part does not mean an "automatic emergency" on my part.

They've found something that does the work of 5 men-- 1 woman.

The six most important words: I admit that I was wrong. The five most important words: You did a great job. The four most important words: What do you think? The three most important words: Could you please... The two most important words: Thank you. The most important word: We. The least important word: I.

Don't waste time learning the "tricks of the trade." Instead, learn the trade.

Remember that all information is biased.

If you don't know what you're doing, at least act like you do until you do.

In business and in relationships with others, the most important thing is trust.

When someone is telling you about an important event that happened to them, don't try to top them with one of your own. Let them have the stage.

Never deprive someone of hope; it might be all they have.

Don't worry about not having enough money. Limited funds are a blessing, not a curse. Nothing encourages creative thinking in quite the same way.

Read anything requiring your signature carefully. Remember the big print giveth and the small print taketh away.

Wear out, don't rust out.

Learn to recognize the things that are not very important, then ignore them.

Let people know what you stand for-- and what you won't stand for.
