THE BOOK OF TAUNT
Jump to:

To be complacently satisfied with yourself is a sure sign that progress is about to end.

Give according to your income, lest God make your income according to your giving.

I have held many things in my hands and have lost them. But whatever I have placed in God's hands, that I still possess.

The smartest person is not the one who is quickest to see through a thing, rather it is the person who will see a thing through.

If you want to get a true estimate of a man, observe what he does when he has nothing to do.

There are many roads to success, but they are all uphill.

As a person grows wiser, he talks less and says more.

We must never be silent when we ought to speak. We must never speak when we ought to be silent.

God gave us two ears and one mouth, which may indicate we should listen twice as much as we talk.

The most boring people I've ever met are those who can think of nothing to talk about... and do it.

Before you give somebody a piece of your mind, be sure you can get by with what you have left.

You can't get rid of your temper by losing it.

The more often you lose your temper, the more you have it.

When you meet temptation, always turn to the right.

When you flee temptation, be sure you don't leave a forwarding address.

If we take the time to think more, we will undoubtedly thank more.

You are not what you think you are, but what you think, you are.

You cannot stop people from thinking. The job is to get some people started.

When you stop to think, don't forget to start again.

Some people become lost in thought because it's such unfamiliar territory to them.
