THE BOOK OF TAUNT
Jump to:

The best way to deal with a poor self-image is to be concerned with the image of Jesus being formed within.

Every child comes with the message that God is not yet discouraged with man.

God may seem slow, but He's never late.

The man who is poor in spirit is the man who has realized that things mean nothing, and that God means everything.

Faith is like a boomerang; begin using what you have and it comes back to you in greater measure.

What other people think of me is becoming less and less important; what they think of Jesus because of me is critical.

The greatest fault is to be conscious of none.

When God wants to do His great works, He trains somebody to be quiet enough and little enough, then He uses that person.

We find the Christian life so difficult because we seek for God's blessing, while we live in our own will.

See Jesus in everything and in everything you will find blessing.

You should not worry about "turning off" people to the Lord when you witness to them. No one can ever turn on what is already turned off, and no one can "turn off" a heart that is being turned on by the Holy Spirit. Just go ahead and tell what you know about the gospel in the best way you know how, and God will use your efforts for His glory.

God, your Father, is greater than your problems. He can solve them all. Put your trust in Him and you will experience this.

When a man is wrapped up in himself, he makes a pretty small package.

Praise Him for all that is past. Trust Him for all that is to come.

The more I study nature, the more I am amazed at the Creator.

The greatness of a man's power is the measure of his surrender.

The cross has revealed to good men that their goodness has not been good enough.

A real Christian is a person who can give his pet parrot to the town gossip.

He who deliberates fully before taking a step will spend his entire life on one leg.

You can trust God right now to supply all your needs for today. And if your needs are more tomorrow, His supply will be greater also.
