THE BOOK OF TAUNT
Jump to:

God cannot open the windows of heaven for the one who keeps his Bible shut.

A Bible in the hand is worth two on the shelf.

The Bible promises no loaves to the loafer.

Birthdays are nice to have, but too many of them will kill a person.

Many people, when they run into a telephone pole, blame the pole.

The man who has a right to boast doesn't have to.

Born once- you die twice. Born twice- you die once.

The smallest deed is better than the grandest good intention.

Pray for a good harvest, but keep on hoein'!

Our strength is shown in the things we stand for; our weakness is shown in the things we fall for.

Men of genius are admired; men of wealth are envied; men of power are feared; but only men of character are trusted.

A warm smile thaws an icy stare.

A loving smile adds a lot to a Christian's face value.

Do not walk behind me, I may not lead. Do not walk in front of me, I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.

A great pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.

The man who believes he can do something is probably right, and so is the man who believes he can't.

You do not believe. That is why you fail.

When nothing seems to help, I go and look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first blow, it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it- but all that had gone before.

The difference between a successful person and others is NOT a lack of strength, NOT a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will.

Yesterday is a canceled check, tomorrow is a promissory note; today is the only cash you have- so spend it wisely.
