Temptations are rarely defeated while you're being tempted. It's defeated by the decisions we've made previously-- the boundaries we've setup before the "game" begins. The big key is for us to play by the rules we've decided on. Nobody can prevent the birds of temptation from flying around his or her head. He or she can prevent those birds from nesting. Temptation cannot defeat us until we choose to follow after it. The Lord always gives us an alternate path.
